Unison Alberta, in partnership with Bridge to Oasis (BTO) Foundation, proudly introduces our Elder Abuse Awareness Program. This comprehensive initiative is dedicated to educating and empowering Afro-Canadian seniors and their caregivers on recognizing, addressing, and preventing Elder Abuse.
Elder Abuse is a pressing concern that demands our attention. Our program aims to equip the community with the knowledge and resources needed to combat various forms of abuse, including financial, physical, emotional, and neglect. Through a series of engaging events, workshops, and educational resources, we strive to create a safe and informed environment for our seniors.
This event will mark the beginning of a collective effort to address Elder Abuse within our community. We invite seniors, caregivers, families, and concerned individuals to join us as we embark on this crucial journey.
We value your insights! As we refine and expand our program, we invite your feedback to ensure that our initiatives are tailored to the needs of our diverse community. Your input will guide the development of our content, workshops, and resources.
